Mrs. Holland Ann OAKLEY, 76, formerly of Providence, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday at her home in Sturgis. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mabel BROWN, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. M.K. DORRIS, of Madisonville; four sons, L.H. and J.A. Oakley, of Sturgis, W.D. Oakley, of Powderly, and W.E. Oakley, of Indianapolis; four brothers, J.C. YARBROUGH, of Detroit, Mich., Charles Yarbrough, of Vancouver, Wash., Willie and Alvie Yarbrough, of Providence; and two sisters, Mrs. John HALL, of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. John BECKNER, of Clay. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Victory Baptist church in Providence. The Rev. E.G. SISK, of Diamond, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Albert KEMP, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Leslie David OAKLEY, 60, of Henderson, who formerly lived near Dixon, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Methodist Hospital in Henderson. Surviving are the wife, Carrie V.; a daughter, Mrs. Frank MARTIN of Henderson; two sons, Dr. I.D. Oakley of Hopkinsville and Sgt. James S. Oakley, stationed with the Air Force in Newfoundland; six grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Zaide HILL of Boardley, Mrs. Martha FARMER of Pride, Mrs. Iley POWELL of Clay, Mrs. George RAWLINGS and Mrs. H.C. WOODRING of Henderson; and two brothers, Joe Oakley of Dixon and Ed Oakley of Henderson. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, with the Rev. W.W. Oakley and the Rev. Raymond FARRAR officiating. Burial was in Roselawn cemetery.

Mrs. Lizzie OAKLEY, 88, formerly of Sebree, died at 1 p.m. Thursday at her home in Henderson. Surviving are a son, Charles Oakley, Henderson; a daughter, Mrs. Mable Oakley, Decatur, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Methodist Church in Sebree, with the Rev. Fred GLOVER officiating, assisted by the Rev. J.E. HARTFORD. Burial was in Springdale cemetery, Sebree.

Mrs. Martha Elizabeth OAKLEY, 87, died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at her home in Wheatcroft following a few days' illness. Survivors are a brother, William CARTER, Wheatcroft; five step-grandchildren, four nephews and one niece. Funeral services were held at the home at 1 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Bob WALLACE officiating. Burial was in the Blackford cemetery.

Thurman OAKLEY, 49, son of Mrs. Annie Oakley and the late Yancey Oakley of Slaughters, died of a heart attack at 1:30 p.m. Monday in his car near Jackson, Ill. Mr. Oakley formerly lived in Slaughters but for the past several years had made his home in Decatur, Ill. Surviving besides his mother are the wife, Mable, of Decatur, Ill., son, David Ross Oakley, and a grandson of Springfield, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. Edwin PARKER of Louisville, and Mrs. E.B. CROWLEY, Slaughters. The body is expected to be brought today to the home of Mrs. Crowley in Slaughters where a short service will be held, with burial in Slaughters cemetery.

Wood OAKLEY, 77, died at 1 p.m. Saturday at his home near Slaughters following a long illness. Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Arge HARRIS, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Birdie NANCE and Miss Josie Oakley of Slaughters; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Gilead Church, with the Rev. Johnny WILSON officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Sebree, Ky. - Mary (DONAHOO) ODOM, 89, formerly of Mount Lebanon, died at 4:05 a.m. Friday at Community Methodist Hospital in Henderson. She was a member of Mount Lebanon General Baptist Church and retired from Bernardin Bottle Company. She had also worked for Tompkins Funeral Home for seven years. Surviving are five daughters, Betty Jean WRIGHT of Henderson, Emmer Lou SIRLS of Calvert City, Joyce WELLS of Owensboro, and Eva Dean MAY and Reva May, both of Providence; a son, John Lewis Odom of Henderson; a sister, Bertha BROWN of Sebree; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Ben, died in 1943. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Tompkins Funeral Homes - Sebree-Poole Chapel, with burial in Mount Lebanon Cemetery near Dixon. Funeral services for Mrs. Birdie TOOMBS OGDEN, 78, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the home in Slaughters, with the Rev. L.F. PIERCEY officiating, assisted by the Rev. James HUMBLE and the Rev. J.E. HARTFORD. Burial was in Slaughters cemetery. Mrs. Ogden died Thursday afternoon at a nursing home in Owensboro following a long illness. Mrs. Ogden was a member of the Methodist church and was always active in church work. Survivors are the husband, Edd Ogden; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Curtis DePOYSTER, Central City, and Mrs. Mary WEIR, Dawson Springs; a stepson, Charles Ogden, Slaughters; five sisters, Mrs. Hickman JONES of Slaughters; Mrs. Florence JACKSON of Madisonville, Mrs. Lillian HOBGOOD, Mrs. Cam ASHBY and Miss Adeline Toombs, Evansville; and one brother, Will Toombs, Slaughters.

Edward F. OGDEN, 86, of Slaughters, died early Saturday morning in Hopkins County Hospital in Madisonville, following a stroke which he suffered Thursday. Mr. Ogden for many years operated the Slaughters Milling Company with his son. He was a member of Slaughters Baptist Church and served as a deacon for many years, as well as teacher of the Men's Bible class. He was a member of Slaughters Masonic lodge and of Rizpah Temple, Shrine, at Madisonville. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Shelley DePOYSTER, Central City, and Mrs. O.L. WEIR, La Junta, Colo.; a son, Charles Ogden, Slaughters; a brother, H.T. Ogden, Lake Worth, Fla.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Robert KELTON and Mrs. Cecil TOMPKINS, Louisville, and Mrs. Thomas VILLINES, Central City; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral servicees were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Slaughters Baptist Church, with the Rev. W.H. COLLINS officiating. Burial was in Slaughters cemetery, with Masonic rites at the grave.

Mrs. Pearl OGDEN, 82, formerly of Slaughters, died Friday in her home in Madisonville following several months of illness. She was the daughter of the late Joel PARKER and Queen BAILEY Parker, pioneer residents of Webster county. She was married in May 1891 to W.H. Ogden, who died a year ago. She had been a member of the Baptist Church in Slaughters since childhood. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J.B. GRIFFIN and Mrs. C.F. DUNVILLE, Madisonville; a son, J.E. Ogden, Slaughters; two grandchildren, Mrs. J.E. HIBBS and Johnny Griffin, Madisonville; and a great-grandchild, Susan Hibbs of Madisonville. A daughter, Mildred, died in 1922. A brief prayer service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, followed by funeral services at Slaughters Baptist Church. The Rev. W.H. COLLINS, pastor, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Harold D. TALLANT, pastor of Madisonville First Baptist Church. Burial was in Slaughters cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth BLACKWELL and Maurice WELLS, Madisonville, J.R. JONES, D.A. Dunville, J.B. BROOKS, and C.E. Ogden, Slaughters.

Finn Nichols OGILBY, 65, died at 6 p.m. Thursday in an Evansville hospital where he was taken early that morning. He was a son of Mrs. Fannie Ogilby and the late W.C. Ogilby, and was married April 9, 1926, in Cairo, Ill., to Miss Bonnie ETHRIDGE. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. Surviving besides the wife and mother, both of Providence, are four sisters, Mrs. Arch BRINSON, Mrs. J.T. Ethridge, Mrs. Harold KOENIG, and Mrs. B.W. STEVENS, of Evansville; and three brothers, C.A. and Jack, of Providence; and Raymond Ogilby, Louisville. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Melton Funeral Home, with the Rev. W.W. JOHNSON officiating, assisted by the Rev. Benjamin CONAWAY. Burial was in Lakeview cemetery.

Charles D. OGLESBY, 90, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday at his home in Clay following a long illness. He was a retired farmer and one of the oldest residents of Clay. Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Emma Oglesby; a foster daughter, Mrs. Frank IRWIN, Morganfield Route 5; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. George L. OGLESBY, 67, former Onton resident, died Wednesday morning, December 3, at the home of a nephew, J.C. Oglesby,
Madisonville. Death was attributed to a heart attack. He was a member of Onton Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Harold
of Detroit and Raymond of Onton; two daughters, Mrs. Mary LANGLE, Louisville, and Mrs. Betty DONAHUE, Lynn, Mass.; two
brothers, Delbert and A.O. of Madisonville; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Sassafras Grove
Church, near Sebree, with the Rev. I.L. CHANDLER officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Thursday in the Morganfield hospital. Survivors are five sons,
Lester, Charles, and Carrol, of Morganfield, W.E. of Ajo, Ariz., and
Pvt. Joe Henry Oglesby, Victorville, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs.
Charles KELLY, Mrs. R.T. BAKER, Misses Lura, Nola, and Prudie Oglesby,
of Morganfield; and three sisters, Mrs. T.C. RAYBURN, of Clay, Mrs.
Lydia RIGGS, near Clay, and Mrs. Felix CRANOR, Boonville, Ind. The
body was taken to the home of Mrs. Rayburn in Clay until time for
funeral services, which were held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Pride
church, with the Rev. STEWART of Morganfield in charge. Burial was in
the Odd Fellows cemetery at Bordley.

Miss Agnes Lucille OLDHAM, 37, died suddenly at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Oldham, near Diamond. According to Coroner J. Murray BLUE death was attributed to a heart attack. Besides the parents, survivors are three sisters, Mrs. F.M. TURLEY, Pineville, La., Mrs. Lillie HEAD of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Mrs. H.F. RADAR of Damden, W. Va.; and a brother, Edward Oldham, near Diamond. The body is at Melton Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 11:a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Johnie ROBISON officiating. Burial will be in White Oak cemetery.

Oldham, Providence rural route; and three sisters, Mrs. Carl HEAD of Lincoln, Mich., Mrs. Vernon TURLEY of Marksville, La., and
Mrs. Henry RADER, Providence rural route. The body is at Melton Funeral Home in Providence where funeral services will be held at
2 o'clock this afternoon. The Rev. Archie OLIVER will officiate. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.

services were held at the Diamond Baptist church at 12 o'clock Wednesday, with the Rev. Johnie ROBISON officiating. Burial

Henry V. OLDHAM, 79, who was born in Webster county, died May 25 at McRoberts, Kentucky. He taught school for several years in Kentucky, later moving to Jonesboro, Ark., where he served as a cashier in a bank and as a postal employee. He moved to McRoberts in 1922 and has been employed by the Consolidated Coal Company. Surviving are the wife, the former Miss Bertie CHARLTON; a son, John C. Oldham of McRoberts; two daughters, Mrs. Henry HOCKER of Clearwater, Fla., and Mrs. Wilfred BROCKMAN of Corydon, Ind.; five grandchildren; and a brother, Ewell of Charleston, Ind.

Mrs. Anne REASOR OMER, 75, of Blackford died Saturday at 5 a.m. in an Evansville hospital, where she had been a patient for seven weeks with a broken hip. Surviving are six sons, Waller, Orville, and W.T. Omer, of Sturgis, Jack, of Wheatcroft, Robert L. and Dick Omer of Blackford; one brother, George Reasor of Fresno, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The body was taken Saturday to Franklin Funeral Home in Clay and later to her home, with Mr. and Mrs. Dick Omer, in Blackford. Funeral services were conducted in the First Baptist church in Sturgis at 2:30 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. E.G. SISK of Diamond officiating. Burial was in Phthian Ridge cemetery, Sturgis. Truman Price (Dick) OMER, 43, of Sturgis rural route, died at 4:45 a.m. Saturday at his home. He had been ill for 15 months, but his death was unexpected at that time. Surviving are the wife, Martha; two sons, William Keith and Richard; five brothers, Waller and Orville Omer of Sturgis, W.T. Omer of Madisonville, Jack Omer, near Wheatcroft, and Robert Omer of Blackford. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Pride Baptist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Bob WALLACE, of Wheatcroft officiating. Burial was in Pythian Ridge cemetery, Sturgis.

Mrs. Albert ORR, 92, former Providence resident, died February 18 in a Lexington hospital. Only survivor is a foster daughter, Mrs. William HITESHU of Albuquerque, N. Mex. Mr. Orr died a number of years ago. Funeral and burial were in Lexington.

Survivors are the wife, Verble Lynn Orr; two daughters, Wilma Lois and Helen Joyce; father, Robert Orr of Reynolds Station; sister, Mrs. Edith BOLING, Reynolds Station, and two brothers, Paul Orr, Reynolds Station, and Jack Orr, Hebbardsville. Funeral services were conducted at 9:00 a.m. Monday in the Ziemer Funeral Home in Evansville, with the Rev. W.A. ORANGE and the Rev. H.R. MOREHEAD officiating. Burial was in Locust Hill cemetery, Evansville.

Mrs. Cordelia ORSBURN, 68, died at 7 p.m. Thursday at her home in Sebree following a paralytic stroke suffered the previous Sunday. She had been in ill health for more than a year. Mrs. Orsburn was the widow of the late W.T. Orsburn, former mayor and police judge of Sebree. She was a native of Webster County and was a member of Sebree General Baptist Church. Survivors are two sons, Rhoden, Key West FL, and Vernon, Sebree; a granddaughter; a brother, Marion OGLESBY, Madisonville; two half-brothers, Herman Oglesby, Robards and Tommie Oglesby, near Henderson; and a half-sister, Mrs. Stella COLLINS, near Henderson. Mrs. Fanny ORTON, 85, died Friday morning in her home in Evansville. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in New Salem church, with the Rev. J.E. HARTFORD of Slaughters, officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.H. OSBURN, 76, died Sunday at 5:30 a.m. at his home on Church street
from the effects of a paralytic stroke which he suffered several days
earlier. He would have been seventy-seven years old in April. Mr.
Osburn had been a resident of Providence for a number of years, havingcome here from Hopkins county, He had been a miner and operated a
grocery store. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Lou Osburn; a sister,
Mrs. A.R. HANCOCK, Manitou Route 2; a half-brother, Junior Osburn of
California; two stepsons, Arthur and Finnie LOFTON, Providence; and
four stepdaughters, Miss Flora Lofton and Miss Bertha Fay Lofton,
Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Anna JONES, Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. E.L.
KING, Providence. An only son by a former marriages, Lester Osburn,
preceded his father in death. Funeral services were conducted at the
home at 1 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Kincheloe LAMB of Madisonville
officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows cemetery, Madisonville.

Lemuel OVERBY, 56, barber in Chillicothe, Ohio, and veteran of World War I, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, in a Dayton, Ohio, hospital, following an illness of six months with a heart ailment. He was born near Dixon on June 25, 1889, the son of W.S. and Laura Ellen JENKINS Overby, and was a member of Slover church. He served in the Army from 1908 to 1913 and and reenlisted in 1917 serving as a sergeant first class. Surviving are two brothers, Dr. J.C. Overby, Hardinsburg, and William Tyler Overby, Miami, Fla.; four sisters, Mrs. Opal JACKSON and Mrs. E.L. TALLEY, Louisville, Mrs. Oma HOLEMAN, Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. James EDWARDS, Frankfort. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11, in the Ware Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Ohio, the Rev. H.B. WEIR officiating, and burial was in Greenlawn cemetery, Chillicothe.

Sebree, Ky. - Mary Kathleen WOODS OVERBY, 72, died at 7:35 p.m. Sunday at Community Methodist Hospital in Henderson. She was a retired businesswoman. She worked with her husband in Sebree Service Center for many years and also worked at Carhart Garment. She was a member of Sebree General Baptist Church and Mount Lebanon Homemakers Club. Surviving are her husband Eugene "Gene"; three sons, Jimmy of Greenlane, Pa., Michael Lee of Providence and Harold "Inky" of Dixon; her mother, Irene BRIDWELL Woods of Sebree; a brother, David Ray Woods of Mount Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tompkins Funeral Home - Sebree Chapel, with burial in Townsend Cemetery. Mrs. Mollie OVERBY, 65, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday of last week at the home of a son, James Overby, in Clay. Survivors besides the son are another son, Carvill, of Evansville; a daughter, Mrs. Carl SIGLER, Henderson; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the General Baptist Church in Clay with the Rev. C. W. DUFFER of Providence officiating. Burial was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Clay. Austin W. OWEN, 34, died at 12:15 p.m. Monday at his home near Slaughters following an illness of four months. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors are the wife, Timmons; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Owen, Manitou; and a sister, Mrs. Homer DAY, Madisonville. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oakley Home church. Mrs. Hattie OWEN, 63, whose home was near Dixon, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday in Methodist Hospital in Henderson following a short illness. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. F.W. MATTINGLY and Mrs. Eugene McCORMICK of Henderson; four sisters, Mrs. Drew BRUCE of Henderson, Mrs. John TRENT and Miss Flossie HIGGS of Geneva, and Mrs. Gus ELENDORF, Evansville; one brother, Lee Higgs of Dixon; and ten grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Tilden church, with the Rev. W.W. OAKLEY of Poole officiating. Burial was in Cedar Grove cemetery.

Henry Kellie OWEN, 68, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Clay, died Saturday in a Nashville hospital. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Tommy WALLACE, near Clay; two sons, Leslie Owen of Evansville and Joe Owen of Anderson, Ind.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Mrs. Carrie VAUGHN of Nashville. The body was brought Sunday to Franklin and Edwards Funeral Home in Clay, where funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Raymond HAZEL officiated. Burial was in Grapevine cemetery, near Madisonville.

James Edward OWEN, 20, drowned at 7:30 Saturday evening in old No. 6 lake at Wheatcroft shortly after going in swimming. His
body was recovered at noon Monday by the Rev. Gid BRANTLEY. Efforts to recover his body were made by Wheatcroft men all
during the night following the drowning, and on Sunday a rescue squad from Owensboro and Boy Scouts from Sturgis joined the
search. On Monday morning pumps were started in operation to drain the lake. Survivors are the mother, Mrs. Leona Owen; a
half-sister, Mrs. Virginia WALKER; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George BEABOUT, all of Wheatcroft. Funeral services were
held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon at Rock Spring church, with the Rev. Bob WALLACE officiating. Burial was in Rock Spring

Mrs. Maud OWEN, 72, died at her home near Dixon Tuesday following an illness of two weeks. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs.

Sebree, Ky. - Phyllis (HAMPTON) OWENS, 45, of the Mount Lebanon community died at 8:16 p.m. Wednesday at Community Methodist Hospital in Henderson, from an apparent heart attack. A 1969 graduate of Webster County High School, she was a member of Mount Lebanon General Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, James "Ray"; two sons, Timothy R. and Jeremy R. Owens, both of Mount Lebanon; her mother, Etta Mae Hampton of Mount Lebanon; and three sisters, Shirley THURBY of Hanson, and Annette FLOYD and Judy Lois SHELTON, both of Mount Lebanon.
