Thee Davidson was born 13 Nov 1844, probably in Daviess County, KY, the son of George M. Davidson and Catharine Burton, who were married there 29 Nov 1840 and are listed in the 1850 Daviess County census.

Until Debbie found Thee and his family in the 1910 Garvin Co OK census and the 1920 McClain Co OK census , Debbie had little documentation about their lives, except that she now has three letters revealing Thee was a scout during the Civil War, serving with Adam Rankin Johnson's Partisan Rangers and that his service was in the Webster County KY area.

Also - Thee's daughter Golda has left us some wonderful information in Aunt Golda's Memories, not only about the Davidson family's move from Texas to Oklahoma in November 1904, but also about what was expected of the children in those days and how willingly the children did it. His grandsons Orval Cooper and Louis Cooper have likewise written memories of their grandfather.
