Fielding Timmons and Margaret Dunville. They were the parents of four children: James T. Nance, b 1855; George William Nance, Jr., b 1857; Iley Grant Nance, b 1861, and Queen Tiny Nance, b 1864. George W. Nance was previously married to a woman named Sarah, (son John J. Nance's 1923 death certificate says her maiden name was Crews); they are listed in the 1850 Hopkins Co KY census with two children, Sarah Nance, age 5, and John J. Nance, age 3. See listing.
