History of the Sebree First Christian Church

Vonette Shelton Curtis has compiled and written a book entitled "The History of the Sebree First Christian Church."

This 253-page hard bound book has lots of photos and history to 1999, mostly from the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's.

Some of the many surnames mentioned are: Shelton, Majors, Springfield, Cox, Rakestraw, Brame and Brooks.

The book went on sale Sunday, May 7, at a celebration for the one-hundred-year anniversary of the church building and one-hundred-thirty years as a denomination in Webster County Kentucky.

Price of the book is $30 postage paid.
