According to Webster County Church Histories copyright 1991 by Webster County Historical & Genealogical Society, Corinth Missionary Baptist Church joined the Little Bethel Association of United Baptists at its twenty-eighth session in Henderson October 15, 16, and 17, 1864.
Brother William Hoggard, who gave the three acres of ground for the church and cemetery, was the first to be buried there in 1893.
