Bumpass, W.N. Cates. Cye Woods died 6 Apr 1946 at age 94 and he is buried at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Webster Co KY. Read his obituary here. He is the great-grandfather of Bee Guthrie

I have never been able to find their marriage record but they had at least 8 children, the oldest being born in 1841 and the youngest in 1864. Dorris Woods died 29 Dec 1894 and is buried at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Webster County. I believe he is the son of James Woods at household 1041/1035 and therefore the brother of Walter Woods and Rebecca Woods Cates above this listing. Woods researchers now believe the wife of Dorris Woods was Ollie Turpin, but we do not know her place in the Turpin family tree and have not found a marriage for Dorris Woods and Ollie. Ollie Woods died 5 Jun 1885 and is buried at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
