France Phillip R. Brown sends the following additional information on this family: The surname was actually spelled "Neisz" and not "Neis". Gabriel Neisz (1826-1889) and Jammie H. Neisz (1838-1912) are buried at Prospect Cemetery, near Dalton, in Hopkins Co, KY. Several of their children are also buried there. Phil says he not descended from this family but is acquainted with some of the descendants of Gabriel Neisz. Thanks, Phil!
