France | Phillip R. Brown sends the following additional information on this family: The surname was actually spelled "Neisz" and not "Neis". Gabriel Neisz (1826-1889) and Jammie H. Neisz (1838-1912) are buried at Prospect Cemetery, near Dalton, in Hopkins Co, KY. Several of their children are also buried there.
