According to his 30 April 1828 Webster County death certificate, Samuel Thomas Hays was born 03 Sep 1885 in KY and resided at a Sebree RFD address. He was a married 42-year-old man; his wife was Jessie Pritchett. His father's name is given as W.L. Hays, born in KY, and only his mother's maiden name, Blackwell, is given; she was born in KY as well. Informant was Jessie Hays. Burial was to be at Todd Family Cemetery.

His stone can no longer be found but his data is included here because it was in James Blue's original listing of the cemetery.
