Rev. Michael Thomas "Miles" Fraser was the son of John Thomas Fraser and Elizabeth Vermillion, who married 16 Sep 1809 in Rutherford Co NC. Miles Fraser married Sarah Ann Todd 13 May 1843 Hopkins Co KY.

Rev. Miles Fraser was born near what is now the town of Sebree. He was converted in 1839, and soon began to preach. He was a great lover of books, and by close application acquired a fair English education. He was moderator of Union Association in 1866, 1870 and 1879. His son, Rev. D. L. Fraser, was later moderator of Union Association, also clerk for several years. Elder Miles Fraser preached his last sermon at Sebree in October, 1886.
