Charles E. "Charlie" Crowley was the son of George Washington "Wash" Crowley and Mary Virginia Mounts, who are also buried at Slaughters Cemetery.

Charlie Crowley married Alice C. Ballard, the daughter of Henry Ballard.

Their son Dyer Crowley is buried here as well as their son Ellsworth B. Crowley.
