J. W. Davidson, M.D. 1822 - 1867 James W. Davidson was born in Tennessee. His first wife was Elizabeth Beckley, who he married 16 Jul 1846 Daviess Co KY and they are listed in the 1850 Daviess County census. They had a son William G. Davidson born 1848. A James W. Davidson married a Lucy McFarland 15 Jun 1852 Daviess County but it is unsure whether or not this is the same James Davidson. |
James Davidson married Amanda Quinn, the daughter of John Jackson Quinn and Julia Rayburn, 11 Apr 1860 Henderson Co KY. They are listed in the 1860 Webster County census with sons William, age 12 and Thomas E., age 7.Dr. James Davidson is mentioned in several of Cap Spencer's 1913 letters to Thee Davidson. These letters were transcribed by Debbie Mecca and can be read online.
