Leler Thomas "Gip" Floyd was the son of David T. Floyd and Mary Catherine Majors.

He married Imogene Stone. Their son Walter Norman Floyd is also buried here. Their daughter, Phyllis Floyd Wedding, is buried at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree.
