Mr. and Mrs. Hugh B. Major celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Easter Sunday.
Mr. Major and the former Ora Lee Ashby were married April 23, 1943 at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Noble W. Ashby. Rev. E.P. Deacon officiated.
They enjoyed a family dinner Sunday at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bob Farmer in Henderson, along with their two other daughters, Kathy Evans of Bowling Green and Jana Denton of Robards. They also have six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
