Anock Asbury ROWLAND. A Simpson County Native. He was born July 13, 1854 in
Simpson County, Kentucky. He died in June 5,1932 in Simpson County, Kentucky.
Buried at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Simpson County, Kentucky. He was 78
years. He was the son of William P. And Mary BARNES Rowland. He was first
married to Victoria LONDON Rowland and has the following children: 2 Daughters:
Mrs. Finis ROACH and Mrs Bud ADAMS. Five Sons: William Rowland, Thomas Rowland,
Herschel Rowland, Duncan Rowland, and Rayburn Rowland. He married second to
Florence Asbury Rowland and 1 son, Willis Rowland. Submitted by Alisa

Victoria London ROWLAND. A beloved mother. She was born March 24, 1856 in
Warren County, Kentucky. She died September 24, 1937 in Simpson County,
Kentucky. Is buried at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Simpson County Kentucky.
She was the daughter of the late James B and Mary DOWNEY London. She was the
mother of 2 Daughters: Mrs. Finis ROACH and Mrs. Bud ADAMS. 5 Sons: William
Rowland, Thomas Rowland, Herschel Rowland, Duncan Rowland and Rayburn Rowland.

Ruley Brother and Sister. Benjamin STARKS RULEY and Sallie Ruley FORD. These
are two of 11 children born to Leander and Martha Ann Starks Ruley. Benjamin
Starks Ruley was born July 27, 1881 in Simpson County, Kentucky. He died March
16, 1948 in Simpson County, Kentucky. He is buried at the Starks Cemetery in
Simpson County, Kentucky. He was a farmer. He had several stokes before his
death. He was the father of 8 children: Still living are, 2 Sons: John Will
Ruley in South Carolina, and Tommie Louis Ruley of Franklin, Kentucky. 2
Daughters: Anna Belle Ruley Forshee of Franklin, Kentucky, and Betty Mae Ruley
Dimler of Memphis, Tennessee. Dead are: 1 Daughter: Margaret Ellen Ruley and 3
Sons: Benjamin Lacey Ruley, George Claypoole Ruley and Jesse Starks Ruley. Some
of his grandchildren and and great grandchilden still live here in Simpson
County, Kentucky. Sallie Ruley Ford was born October 15, 1883 in Simpson County,
Kentucky. She died on July 3, 1919 in Simpson County, Kentucky. Buried in Starks
Cemetery in Simpson County, Kentucky. She was the wife of Ben N. Ford. They
never had children.
