David B. Hamilton (1815-1884) married Jane Sharp (1817-1882). They lived in Turkeyfoot near Davis. Their children - Linchfield Hamilton, Mary Ann Hamilton, William Hamilton who married Catherine Mulberry, John C. Hamilton who married Sarah Hiten, Martha Hamilton, David Hamilton, Elliott "Doc" Hamilton, Margaret Frances Hamilton who married George Adams and lastly Virginia Mary Hamilton. There were members of Beards Presbyterian Church. It has been said David's parents were born in Ireland and the parents of Jane Sharp were Linchfield Sharp and Ann Moore. John C. Hamilton and Sarah Hiten had children - Walter C. Hamilton who married Nannie Cox, John Wesley "Tucker" Hamilton who married Cora Sharp, Cam Hamilton who married Myrtle Romans, Darwin Hamilton, Maude Hamilton who married Cam Skinner, Willie Hamilton and Ealon "Elly" Hamilton who married Myrtle Fighmaster. Most of the family are buried behind the church as Davis on Highway 32.
