The Caudill Cemetery at Uz

TabTack Description: The Caudill Cemetery at Uz is a small family cemetery located on a hillside behind the old Wendell Caudill house on the south bank of the North Fork Kentucky River.

TabTack Location: Approximately 37° 07' 05" North Latitude and 82° 53' 10" West Longitude.

TabTack Directions: Take highway 15, just north of Whitesburg, to road 3401. Turn left on road 3401 and travel westward along Dry Fork for about 0.8 miles to highway 588. Turn right on highway 588 and head westward about 0.8 miles (past the Jim Brown Cemetery, aka the Uz Cemetery, on the left) to a narrow, steep side road on the left. Take the steep side road down the side of the mountain across the old railroad tracks (no longer used) and then across the narrow wooden bridge (over the North Fork Kentucky River). At the end of the drive (where it T's), turn right and the cemetery is up on the hill to the left (not normally visible from the drive because of trees and heavy foliage). Take the foot trail up the hillside to where the cemetery is located. The foot trail enters the cemetery from the right, near the front.

TabTack Misc. Notes: The cemetery is not laid out in exact rows, so the rows listed below are only approximate.
