Can anyone tell me of possible churches in Harrison County, Kentucky from the early 1790-1866 era. What I am trying to locate is any church close to where my gg-grandfather, David Ralston, might have been associated with. He was buried in the Ralston Cemetery on Adams Lane near Connersville. He was married to Sarah Atkinson. I have come to a total stand-still on further information on him and was hoping to try a new avenue of approach.

I am trying to find someone that may have information on my grandpas family. My grandpas name was William Kendall Smith. That was his adopted name , he was born William Kendall Stroub. He had two sisters Pauline and Mary Louise and a brother named James. These siblings were adopted out when they were children (except for James). James was old enough  and didn't need a lot of care. William was adopted by Janie and Jeff Smith, I am not sure about Mary Louise . Pauline was adopted by three sisters with the last name of Butler. The mother of these children was named Eva  or Evie Groves (maiden name)  and the fathers name was Peter Stroub. Eva died of TB when my grandpa was still a baby. If anyone has info rmation on these people please contact me.

I am also researching the Sellers/Sellars line. In doing so, I came across a James Sellers/Sellars in the 1850 census for Montgomery County, Indiana. Apparently, this chap was born at Harrison County, Kentucky on January 31, 1795. He lived near Dayton, Ohio awhile, and then settled in Montgomery County, Indiana in October 1823. Here is a link to my web page that has more details: http://www.discoveryvision.com/doug/genealogy/Sellars_Census_Records.htm  It appears that my James Sellers may be the son of the John Sellers.
