In 1790 there was a marriage in Bourbon County, Kentucky between Louisa Duskie and William Rayle.  This couple ultimately settled in Switzerland County, Indiana.  It is very unclear who the parents of Louisa were.  In the 1800 federal census of Harrison County, Kentucky there is an Abijah Dusky.  Is he the father of Louisa?  Please contact me to exchange notes if you are interested in the Dusky family.

I am searching for information on my gggrandfather James Morton/Martin Fryman, born 1819-1909 (son of Philip and Catherine Baker Fryman, Jr.) of Harrison County, Kentucky. His first wife was Mary Jane Herrington, born 1840 - d after 1870.) Their children were: Columbus W. married Susan C. Herrington; Greenbury married Thursy E. Worsel; Ashford married Rebecca Ann Herrington; Willis married Clerinda Herrington; George Henry married Sabrina Hill; Sarah E., married Amos Whennel; William Critter married Sarah Jane Herrington; Charles married Susan S. Herrington; Oscar married Eliza J. Mahoney; Luvina married Samuel Hill and Eliza Ellen, married first John Herrington, second Henry Fryman and third John Henry Readnour.  This is my ggranfather, Ella, who was born in 1865 and died at Hartsville, Bartholomew County, Indiana in 1944.  James and his second wife, Martha Varner, had the following children:  Ida; Newton; Albert; Ora; Thieany; Cora; James S., and Harrison.  My uncle told me that his father, James Marshall Fryman, born (1886 - 1956) son of Eliza Ellen, lived with his grandfather, James M. Fryman, for a number of years in Harrison County, Kentucky when he was young.  This appears to be factual as the 1900 census shows a grandson with the name of James M. living at that residdence.  If anyone has information on this family, please contact me.  I welcome any stories, letters, photographs and family history.
