I am researching my wife's grandparents Williams, who were in Henderson County,
Kentucky in early 19th Century. I have good information on: Albon E. Williams.
Had six children: Susan A., Bellfield Y, Silas E. (our line), Isham S., John
W. (Dudley) and Florence M. Silas E. had three children: Lena, Benjamin Erskin
(our line), and Susan {Sudie}. Benjamin Erskin married Maud Irma Adkins and
they had 15 children of whom 9 lived to adult age. I'm currently concentrating
on working backwards from Albon E., which I think connects back to John Williams,
who married Mary Keeling in late 17th century Virginia.

I have a copy of marriage entries from the research group, Lineages,
which is from an entry made into the LDS files in Salt Lake City. Three marriages
are listed for Harrison County, Kentucky: Green B. King to Nancy Gunsaules,
August 12, 1852; Abanathy King to Liney N. Jackson, December 29, 1853: Ollison
King to Mary M. Weaver, April 6, 1854. Abanathy King is my
great-grandfather. I have to wonder if these King's are related to each other?
Does anyone researching King's in Harrison County, Kentucky. Have
an answer? Glad to share what information I have. Thanks very much.

Patrick Lafferty, born in Ireland about 1768, married October 15, 1811, Elizabeth
Martin, Harrison County, Kentucky. They had five children: Martin born
Kentucky; William born Ohio; Nancy born 1815 Ohio; Wesley
born 1820 Ohio and Edward born 1821 Ohio. About 1828 the family
moved to Vermilion County, Illinois. I believe Patrick had married 1st October
2, 1804 in Montgomery County, Ohio to Sarah Miller. They had two sons: James
born 1806 and Daniel born 1807 both in Ohio. What happened to Sarah Miller
Lafferty? When and why did Patrick go to Harrison County, Kentucky?
When did he leave again for Ohio? I am interested in any information concerning
Patrick's family the short while they were in Harrison County, Kentucky.
I would like to find proof that these two Patrick's are indeed the same
person.
