Looking for information on Archibald Duncan, who married Hannah Williams
in 1792 in Fauqrier County, Virginia. He died in 1839 in Harrison County,
Kentucky. Also looking for information on William Duncan that married Lydia
Duncan in 1780 in Fauqrier County, Virginia, he died in Harrison County,
Kentucky. I know the connections between these men. However, does William
Duncan appear in Pendleton County on the 1800 tax list, if so I need
his line forward 2 generations for the Pendleton County Pioneer Book to be
published next year by historical society. Also appearing in the 1800 tax
list were Elias, Enoch and Willis Duncan. They to have Harrison, Pendleton
and Bracken county ties. Any information appreciated, will share.

My mother is looking for Keziah Harrison and James Dunn. First daughter,
Lucinda Dunn born 1794 at Harrison County, Kentucky, married Thomas Blair
Clark, born 1786 at Dunning Creek, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Keziah Harrison
doesn't appear to be related to Benjamin Harrison (president) and doesn't
appear on a descendant chart of Burr Harrison (1637?). A James Dunn, Jr.
and James Dunn, Sr. appear on tax records later than 1794. Any help would
be appreciated.

Robinson and Breckenridge are towns in Harrison County (once Bourbon) that
must have connections somehow to my family. My William L. Robinson (1800-1868)
lived in Bourbon County about 1820. After he married Augustina Biddle,
Breckenridge's were cousins. However, I've never found a connection. William's
uncles and even great-uncles in early Kentucky (1775) and just hope to unravel
my Robinson line. Any help is so appreciated.

Seeking information on the descendants of the three LAIL brothers, George,
Peter and Henry who were present with their families at Ruddle's Station
when it was taken by Captain Byrd and his Indian allies. The surname is sometimes
spelled Loyl, Lale and Lagle. George and Henry survived the attack. It is
believed that Peter was killed. George's son, also George, nine years old
was taken to the area of present Cape Girardeau County, Missouri and raised
by the Indians. He was my ggg-grandfather.

Looking for help in locating the family of John McFall, who married a woman
by the name of Barbara. He had family of eight children and was involved
in the battle at Ruddles Station 1780. He and the children were taken to
Canada while Barbara was kept with the Indians. They reunited sometime later.
John died in Harrison County, Kentucky in 1800. I have the records of land
division for wife and children. I believe that all the children left Kentucky
except for David McFall, who married a second time and died in Bourbon County,
Kentucky. Thanks in advance.

Am researching the family of Benjamin Jones, who died in 1795 according to
will in Harrison County, Kentucky. In his will he mentioned a Sarah Pursley
as his daughter, married to Geo. Pursley. Need to know any information
on this guy between then and 1780 when he was captured by indians at Ruddles
Station. He migrated to Missouri with the Boone group in 1798/99 and died
here in 1852. (John Geo. Pursley captured at Ruddles Station in 1780 -
.held in captivity for seven years and then released. Would like to know

My wife's gg grandparents were William Tate and Rhoda Selby. William was
born in Nicholas County, Kentucky on August 14, 1794, married Rhoda Selby
(born about 1797 in Worcester County, Maryland) in Harrison County, Kentucky
on March 2, 1820. They moved from there to Rush County, Indiana
and eventually to Jasper County, Illinois by 1851 where Rhoda died January
2, 1878 and William on November 27, 1887. Family History indicates that Francis
and Mary Tate were his parents; however, I have never been able to prove
that. Francis married Mary in Bourbon County, Kentucky on November 2, 1795
(after William's supposed birth). Francis is shown in the Nicholas Cunty,
KentuckyTax Records for 1800 through 1807. Mary shows up in the 1810 Harrison
County, Kentucky census without an adult male, but several children, none
over the age of 10. Mary remarried to Samuel Caswell in Harrison County,
Kentucky in 1811 and died there in Feb 1839. Can anyone shed any more light
on this Francis Tate and Mary Hilmack?
