Jack, It would be very helpful if you would list the names of the Ecklar lines you are searching in Harrison County. There are a number of Ecklars in the county and the lines can be very intertwined. Without names and time periods I'm not sure I can help you with your research.

BLAGG surname, mentioned with George Washintin in the 1753 Virginia Malitia French and Indian Wars, Blagg , several that were in the War of 1812-16. Some recived Bounty or Warrent lands in Arkansas, as part pay. Caleb Blagg b. 1745 , Dittingen Parish , Prince William County, Virginia, and a son William Anderson Blagg were killed in the War of 18812-16. I belivbe that they joined in Tennessee along with the James Blagg who was in a Tenn. Reg. As I find no other James in the War of 1812-16. James servived. However I cannot locate the reports of Caleb and William Anderson Blagg. William Anderson married a Cerokee lady, Sina Knight, in Alabama. They had about twelve children before the War of 1812-16. She and severl of her children were relocated, it seems, to Ark. buit wound up in Texas. There was a Nimrob and a Samual, Kelton, and another blagg in the War of 1812-16 that I did find the index cards for. Any information anyone can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks
