I am seeking info on Rebecca MCLAIN grandaughter of Aruthur MCLAIN (of Harrison Co) and wife of George GROVES (Grant County). They were married in 1843 in Grant County and are listed in the 1850 KY census with two children, William and Priscilla. Searching for other children born after 1850 before Rebecca's death cira 1852-1859. Trying to prove parentage of Paulina or Perlina GROVES born cira 1852, who lists George GROVES as her father when she married her first cousin in 1874. Have lots of info on above surnames from Grant and Harrison County, begining with John GROVES listed in 1820 census. This family lived on the Grant, Harrison and Scott County border and had strong connections to Clark County.
