I am trying to establish my direct lineage within the Duckworth family of
Harrison County. My grandmother was Anna Kearns. Her father was Leo Duckworth.
I am having difficulty finding out the names of Leo's parents and grandparents,
would also like to know if he had any siblings. Any help you could give would
be greatly appreciated. Please email me at cateyes23@juno.com , and let me
know if there is anything I can help you with re: the Duckworths. Thank
you.

My Gr-Gr-Grandparents, William HAMPTON and Elizabeth BURGESS were married
in Harrison County KY in 1826. William was son of Stephen HAMPTON who purchased
land in Orange County, IN. Elizabeth was daughter of John BURGESS. John's
cousin Mason BURGESS also purchased land in Orange County IN. William and
John moved as did other members of the BURGESS family to Hendricks/Putnam
County area of IN. Some of the Hampton & Burgess family members remained
in Rutland, Harrison area. In the 1860 Census for Rutland, Harrison, KY on
page 539 in household #638 head of household Lindsey Green 61 I found the
grand-daughter of William & Elizabeth (BURGESS) HAMPTON. Harriet DICKERSON
age 15, is the dau Mary Jane HAMPTON & her husband Jackson DICKERSON.
Was Harriet spending the summer with relatives? I would like to find out
more about my Kentucky Cousins and our ancestors.

If your research includes any WEAVER links in KY, particularly Harrison County,
please contact me ASAP. I have a considerable amount of information on this
surname, and I can help you for FREE. I have transcribed 1880, 1900, 1910,
and 1920 KY Census Soundex W160, WEAVER and variants, plus Pendleton Co 1860,
1870 WEAVER and selected collateral surnames. I have birth, death, marriage,
wills, discharge papers, and some cemetery information, including some Bracken
Co records as well. At this point of my project, I am keenly interested in
any WEAVER living in early 1800 to 1840 in this region. Wm G.P. WEAVER was
born Jan 1820 in Nicholas Co, and I have not identified his siblings or parents,
although there are quite a few unrelated WEAVERs that fit that profile. I
am in contact with other WEAVER researchers and have discussed their lines,
and they seem to end in this same period. Establishing a sibling relationship
to Wm G.P. or other individuals could open up a huge family tree. YOU can
be a part of it, but I need your input and assistance. Contact me via e-mail
or this page. If I can serve you, regardless of benefit to me, I will be
delighted. Enjoy a wonderful Christmas Season!
