Searching for information on Anges (Agness) Rutter, who married Archibald South on December 8, 1814 in Harrison County, Kentucky. Their daughter, Mary Jane South, was my great-great-grandmother. Archibald was born in Maryland and died in Illinois. Quite a lot of information is available about his family, but nothing seems to be known about Agnes and her ancestors. Was she from KY? Was the Susannah Rutter, who married Thomas South Agnes' sister, related? What were her parents' names, and when and where were they born? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
