In researching my greatgrandfather Noah Spears Moore in the 1860 Census,
I find that living with him was a Maria Thomas. Maria was listed as being
a 65 year old female; relationship to Noah not specified; she had real estate
valued at $10,400.00 and personal estate valued at $13,000.00. These people
lived out on the Cynthiana Road between Cynthiana and Paris. Since Noah was
born in Harrison County, I thought maybe Maria comes from there also. Does
she sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for your help.

CHARLES MOOTS, JR. born 9-15-1793, married Mary Moore, who was born near
Cynthiana, Harrison County, KY 10-18-1796. They were married on 1-8-1818
in Champaign County, OH. Sorry, I don't have any information on your William
McDonald, but am hoping you have some further information on Anna Moots or
MOATS, his wife? I've been searching for Charles Moots, Jr's, siblings. Perhaps,
your Anna is one of them. I believe Charles, Jr. had one brother named John
and that their mother's name was 'Annala' and father's name, Charles Moots,
Sr.. Charles, Sr. and son, John Moots, moved to Adair County, MO., probably
in 1830's or so. John was married to Elizabeth Randall. The History of Logan
County, Ohio, mentions the Randall family, too. Am willing to share further
information on Moots' and Moore's of Harrison County, KY.

Does anyone have any information about them, or about the cemetary? I have
up to date information on them, but nothing before them. Thanks.
