Researching information on Shumate/Showmate and Bell in Harrison County,
Kentucky. Think Thomas Shumate married a Bell, then married a sister. Not
sure as to the date - maybe about 1860. Also looking for information on Warth
and Sheldon also. Any information would be appreciated very much.

Francis Robinson was buried in Cynthaniain in the year 1840. Can anyone verify
the locations and let me know where it is documented. I have connections
with the folloring surnames in Owen County, Grant County, Harrison County,
and Pendleton County, Kentucky: Berry, Chinn, Denny, McHatton, Thompson
and may more. Willing to share data, please contact me. Have old pictures

Stapleton Jones, mother Verlinda Holiday. Need information on parents and
siblings. He served in the Union Army in Civil War and returned to home near
Cynthiana before moving to Missouri about 1871.

1801 in Orange County, Virginia. Possible children: Nancy (born 1802-VA),
Wilson (born 1803), Henderson (born 1806 KY), Mary and William (born 1810-KY).
Moore Brags is listed in Harrison County, Kentucky 1810 Census. Jane York
Bragg, widow of Moore, married John Dautenspeck ca. 1815 in Kentucky moved
to Fayette County, Indiana 1820 Census. Appreciate any information on this
family, especially Moore.

Trying to locate any information on the marriage, death, birth or census
between Sanford Williams and Susan Ann Tenny married in Harrison, County,
Kentucky in 1847. Sanford W.was reported to have died in Mason County, Kentucky
in May 1952. Also information regarding birth, marriage, death
and census pertaining to Mary Elizabeth Williams or Hugh Tom Williams. Mary
Elizabeth died in 1852 and Hugh T. born1849. Both Born in Harrison County,
Kentucky. Both later moved and located in Nicholas and Mason Counties.

Peter Lewis married Rebecca Cassell on May 8, 1807 in Fayette County, Kentucky.
He is shown on Bourbon County tax records in 1821, 1822, and 1823, but not
later. He and his family are shown on the 1820 census for Harrison County,
Kentucky. Peter and Rebecca's children were: Benjamin, William, Jane, Sanuel,
Deborah, Kittie, Martha, and Tom. Benjamin, my grandfather, married Harriet
Eleanor Jackson on November 18, 1830 in Harrison County, Kentucky. He and
his family moved to Lewis County, Missouri. in 1837. Their children were
Henry Jackson, Sarah Hamilton, John Thompson, Mariah Josephine, Lydia Margret,
James William, Thomas Benton, Benjamin Franklin, and Mary Rebecca. Any
connections out there??

Am seeking any information on the Dorough/Darrow families that lived in Kentucky
in the early 1800's. On the 1800 state census, a James Dorough appears in
Harrison County, while on the 1810 census, a James Darrow appears in the
same county. These may turn out to be the same man, but any information would

Philip Rutherford, born 1775 lived in Virginia until the 1820's. He is later
found in Harrison County, Kentucky in 1843. He married Hannah Harris in
Paupersville, Harrison County, Kentucky in 1854. The marriage was witnessed
by William Kearns, and Joshua Bean, all which lived around Curry's
Run area with Philip Rutherford and Hannah Harris. The last known record
of Philip Rutherford is on a tax list in Harrison County, Kentucky in 1856
and is not on the 1860 census for Harrison County.. I have found no
record of his death or where he is buried. He may be buried in a family grave
along side Hannah Harris, Kearns and Beans. If you have any information on
