Am researching information on my husband's line. Wallace Elwood Whalen, born
April 5, 1921 to Sarah Elleh Hollar (b. abt 1890) and Charles Robert Whalen
(b. abt. 1885) in Bourbon County, Kentucky and raised in Harlan and Harrison
County, Kentucky. Most of Whalens appear to be from Harrison County.
Grandparents: Isaac Newton Henry, Harvey Monroe Whalen and Nancy Slade
(Cherokee). Wally had two older brothers - Charles Elride and Elmo Pernell.
Elmo had rheumatic fever as a child and lost his hearing due to this. Any
information you can assist with would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Interested in finding information concerning Will (William) Coleman. He married
Janie Brock, in Richmond, Kentucky, who was his second wife. His first
wife died at an early age. Her maiden name was Thomas. She was
either from Franklin or Scott County, Kentucky. Mr. Coleman's first child
was named Edwina Coleman. From his second marriage with Janie, he had
three children: George, Robert and Lottie. Need to know back
ground of Will (William) Coleman. Believe he was reared in Scott County,
near Stamping Ground.
