Newton D. Kearns

Graduation Day at Oddville High School

Newton won the award for not missing a day of school in twelve years.
He lived in Poindexter a few miles from school. Today the old school is
no longer, only the gymnasium is still standing.

Newton later married Leah Leslie Whitaker. Leah was one of the last
Whitaker's to teach at Oddville High School.
