Cemetery is located just north of Lees Lick
between Kentucky Hwy. 1842 and Mill Creek.
The location at Google earth is longitude and
latitude 38 degrees 21'.01.57 and 84
degrees 24' 33.66.
Burials in this cemetery were located about
twelve years ago during a physical survey. At
the time of the survey remains of the Cason
homestead were still visible. The property was
then owned by Richard Camerson. He may
or may not be the present owner. In the mid
1800's the property was owned by Hartwell B.
Cason, a descendant of Nelson Cason. The
Cason Cemetery does not appear in 100 Cemeteries
of Harrison County, Kentucky, by Ford
and Nagle, 1992.
Members of the Cason family were in Harrison
County as early as 1809 when John Cason
married Polly Green. John, born 1785
in Virginia, was the son of Thomas Cason, born
1762, who served in the Revolution, and his
wife Nancy Day Cason. They had at least
three other sons that came to Kentucky in the
early 1800's: James Granville Cason, Sr.,
Edmond/Edward D. Cason and Nelson Cason.

There were seven stones and possibly another
flat stone located approximately twelve
years ago. Stephen has made contact (2010)
with a local resident and has determined this
cemetery still exist; however, it is very
overgrown. And, more stones may be visible
than the eight listed below.
