Solomon Snow

Solomon Snow, born on May 8, 1787 in Rhode Island came to Franklin County, Kentucky early in 1820 from Utica, New York.  He married Nancy Ann Brawner, daugher of Edward Brawner and Ann Franklin Brawner of Maryland, on December 16, 1820 in Franklin County, Kentucky.  Nancy Ann was born in Maryland on December 21, 1793. Solomon Snow first appears on census for Franklin County, Kentucky in 1830 with his young family.  He remains on census for Franklin County, Kentucky through 1860. Solomon Snow apparently died sometime prior to the 1870 census.  Wife, Ann, age 76 is listed on the 1870 Franklin County census, Bald Knob district.  Also living in her household is daughter, Priscilla and son John and his children.  Solomon and Nancy had children; William Frankin, Henry Carter, John T., and Priscilla Jane.  There may also been a daughter Elizabeth, born on October 3, 1825; however this has not been documented.  If so, she was married or deceased prior to the 1850 census for she was not listed in the houshold of her parents.

Franklin County and twins James M. and Molly.  Henry Snow apparently died prior to 1900.  Wady Snow, a widow, was living in the household of her son
