Raleigh/Rolley
Hopper, born about 1772 and Lucy Thompson, born about 1775 were married on
October 4, 1794 in Bourbon County,
Kentucky.
Rolley camer to Bourbon County, probably from the Carolina's in the early
1790's. By 1801 the young family had
moved
to Scott County, Kentucky. Rolley Hopper died sometime prior to 1820,
possibly in Franklin County. Lucy Hopper is
listed
as head of household on the Franklin County 1820
census.

Reuben
Hopper, born about 1798 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. Reuben married Ann "Anna"
Lewis on December 11, 1822 in Fayette County, Kentucky. The couple had children: John L., b. 1825, Elizabeth, b. 1828, Sarah J., b. 1829, Simon, b. 1830, Benjamin, b. 1832, David, b. 1835, Louisa, b. 1837, Amanda, b. 1839 and Susan, b. 1845 |
Samuel
Hopper, about 1800 in Scott County, Kentucky. He married Margaret "Peggy"
Brown sometime prior to January 1822. Tax rolls indicate the family was a resident of Casey County, Kentucky from 1823 - 1838. Samuel and Peggy had three known children: Simon T. (b. 1822-d.1915), Martha Jane (b. 1822-1914) and Ezekiel (b. 1827-d. aft 1850) |
Rachel
Hopper, born between 1800 - 1810 in Scott or Pulaski counties, Kentucky.
She married George Cook in Franklin County, Kentucky on January 16, 1823. Mothers' Lucy Hopper and Martha Cook gave consent for their children to marry. Nothing further is known of this couple. |
Simon
Hopper, March 1, 1805, Scott County, Kentucky. Simon married Sarah Ann Sacra
on November 8, 1825 in Fayette County, Kentucky. Sarah was born in Woodford County, Kentucky on October 16, 1807. Simon and Sally had children: William R. b. 1826, Elijah M., b; 1829, Thomas J., b. 1832, Mary Jane, b. 1835, Matilda (Millie) b. 1836, Joseph S. b. 1838, Frances, b. 1841, Ellen, b. 1843, Elizabeth, b. 1845 and Analisa, b. 1847. |
Rolley
Hopper, born between 1805 - 1810, in Scott or Pulaski County, Kentucky.
Rolley married on April 30, 1828 in Fayette County, Kentucky to Catherine Woods. Catherine's maiden name is unknown. She was married prior to Rolley then to a Woods. Catharine Hopper gave consent for the marriage of her daughter Adaline D. Woods to Willis Baker in 1838. Consent witnesed by Rolley Hopper. No children of Rolley and Catherine have been located. |
