Lindsey Arnett Watkins
Lindsey
Arnett Watkins was born on September 3, 1859 in Henry County, Kentucky.
Arnett, as he was called by family and friends, was the eighth child
of Willis Lindsey and Susan Stivers
Watkins.
He married Margaret "Maggie" Harrod, daughter of Elijah Harrod and
Louisa Harp, on December 25, 1878 in Franklin County, Kentucky and they became
the parents of eleven children.
Margaret
Harrod Watkins died on July 9, 1938 in Franklin County, Kentucky almost ten
years before Arnett. Lindsey Arnett Watkins died on
May 15, 1929 in Franklin County, Kentucky
and is
buried
beside his wife, Maggie, in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Cemetery, Franklin County,
Kentucky.

Elnora North in Franklin County, Kentucky on December 29, 1904. Elnora was born December 15, 1881 in Franklin County, Kentucky and died August 7, 1935 in Shelby County, Kentucky. Ernest and Elnora North Watkins are buried at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Franklin County, Kentucky. |

on February 1, 1905 to Luther C. "Floyd" Webb and second on January 27, 1926 to William "Willie" Penn. The death and burial place of Lula Penn is unknown. |

was born on January 8, 1887 in Franklin County, Kentucky. He married
America Durman on December 16, 1908. America was born about 1887 in Kentucky and died on May 3, 1955 in Fayette County, Kentucky. Luther and America Durman Watkins are buried at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Franklin County, Kentucky. |

on May 1, 1912 in Jefferson County, Kentucky to Mary Frances Johnson. Mary Frances Johnson the daughter, of William Henry Johnson and his wife Julia Bondurant, was born July 1884 in Henry County, Kentucky and died on January 26, 1923. She is buried at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in an unmarked grave. Willis married second on January 27, 1926 in Franklin County, Kentucky to Geraldine Penn. Geraldine was born in 1905 and died in childbirth on May 15, 1927. She is buried at Harvieland Methodist Church Cemetery, Franklin County, Kentucky. Willis married for the third time on June 20, 1931 in Franklin County, Kentucky to Mina Sanford Metts. Mina was born on January 21, 1897 in Franklin County, Kentucky. Willis Watkins died in Boyle County, Kentucky on July 1, 1950 and is buried in the Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Kentucky. The name and birth date of his third wife Mina appears on the double tombstone, however, she is not buried there. The death of Mina Sanford Metts Watkins is unknown. |

Lewis W. Carr, Sr. on January 29, 1913. Lewis was born on January 10, 1894 in Kentucky and died on May 6, 1956 in Franklin County, Kentucky. Lewis Carr is buried in the Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Kentucky. The burial place of Erma Watkins Carr is unknown. |

Nellie Watkins Penn died on August 2, 1944 and Gorman on January 7, 1957. Both are buried in the Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Kentucky. |

on April 12, 1978. She married Scott Brown Moore on November 3, 1924. Scott was born in 1907 and died on November 21, 1984. Both are buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford County, Kentucky. |
