George Washington Sacra/Sacre

George Washington Sacra/Sacre married Julia Ann Jenkins, daughter of Abel Jenkins, Sr., and his wife, Elizabeth Tracy, in Shelby County, Kentucky on December 28, 1843 in Franklin County.  A Franklin County, Kentucky deed, dated March 8, 1849 from the heirs of Abel Jenkins, Sr. to George Sacre, 2 acres of land. The  George Sacra/Sacre family is listed on the 1850 census for Shelby County, Kentucky, page 322 as J. Sacre, age 29, Carpenter, born Virginia, J. A. Sacre, age 25, born Kentucky and two children; W. F. (male),  age 6 and, A. M. (Anna Marie "Annie"), age 3.  Another, son George Abel Jenkins, was born December 29, 1853. Julia A. Jenkins Sacra died on January 15, 1854 only a few weeks after the birth of her son George, which may have been the result of complications during birth. She is also buried in the Graefenburg Cemetery along with other members of the Jenkins family. The death and burial place of George W. Sacra is unknown.

W. F. Sacra/Sacre, was born about 1844, probably in Shelby County, Kentucky. Nothing further is known

Anna Marie "Annie" Sacra/Sacre, was born about 1847, probably in Shelby County, Kentucky. Annie married Henry E. Tutt, born about 1837 in Morgan County, Kentucky. A record of the death of Annie M. Tutt, states; Annie was a white, married, female, born in Kentucky, died of Apoplexy on July 23, 1901 and lived at 1900 W. Ormsby.

George Abel Sacra/Sacre, was born on December 29, 1853 and died August 21, 1854, probably in Shelby County, Kentucky.  He is buried in the Graefenburg Cemetery next to his mother.
