Born in Trego Couty. Son of John & Mary (Armbrister) Zachman. He married Mattie Arlette Chapman in Dec. 1958. She preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Curtis Zachman, a daughter, Candice Moyer, two brothers, Ernest & Harry Zachman, four sisters, Anna Hamburg, Martha Massier, Dorothy Dietz, 7 Helen Deines, & 5 grandchildren. Burial in St. John Cemetery, Ellis. Kansas.
