Martha V. MAI
Born in Beausejour, Manitoba, Canada. Daughter of Rev. Wilhelm & Krimhild (Von Grossberg) Zahlis. She attended rural Canadian Manitoba Saskatchewan schools & received a degree in music from the Chicago Conservatory. EShe married Emanuel A. Mai on Sept. 1949, in Ellis. He died Aug. 22, 1987. Survivors include two sons, Loren Mai, & Neil Mai, two daughters Myrna Mai, & Jan Peak, two brothers, Michael Zahlis, & Paul Zahlis, a sister, Maria Fitzgibbon, 11 grand children, & seven great-grandchildren.
