She was born in Ogallah, Kansas. Daughter of Lous & Myrtle (Kuhn) Morton. She married Elmer J. "Bus" Jacobs, on March 17, 1985, in Hays, Kansas. He died March 17, 1985. Survivors include two sons, Phil Jacobs, & Jim Jacobs, two daughters, Cynthia Seltman, & Janet Shankland, eight grandchildren, & five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, LaVerne, Roy, Ray, & Irvin Morton, five sisters, Eva Coleman, Neva Sherfick, Marge Fondoble, Lou Westphal, & Wanda Orr. Burial in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Hays Kansas.
