Phyllis Solter
The names I’m looking for are SOLTER and GOSCH. Henry Edward Solter came to the Kechi area in @ 1874 with his parents, John Frederick Solter and - still in question - Marie Klaver. His parents were immigrants from Germany but had been the the US for some time (at lease 1860) before the move.
Henry married Sophia Gosch in August, 1880 and I’m guessing it was in Sedgewick County. Her parents were George and Louise Gosch, also German, also not recent immigrants (before 1860). The families were Baptist. I’d welcome any information about the parents of Henry and Sophie. Thank you.

Terry Smith
Looking for death or cemetery record for Gotthard Koch (some in our family think it was Henry Gottlieb Koch). He was born Nov. 9, 1816 in Wurtemberg Germany. He died May 19, 1895. I know that his son Samuel Koch lived in Wichita in the late 1880's and early 1890's before striking out for the Oklahoma land rush in the mid 1890's. Sam was a clerk at a Wichita hotel where he met his wife. When he settled in Oklahoma he was the first mayor of a little town called Pondcreek.
I have most of the information on the Koch family, except no one knows where Gotthard is buried. Many in his family returned to Toledo OH which is where his widow is buried, along with many other descendants.
Any assistance anybody can provide, or suggestions, will be most appreciated. Thank you
