Died at Her Home Near Langdon on
Monday, February 16th.

Mrs. Chester Truitt

Martha May daughter or Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Clark was born near Arlington, May 6, 1865.  Departed this life after a sort illness at their farm home northwest of Landgon, Monday, February 16, 1920 aged at the time of her death, 24 years 9months and 10 days.

January 16, 1916, she was united in marriage with Mr. Chester C. Truitt of Langdon.  To this union were born two sons, Leslie, aged 3 years and Harvey, aged 20 months. 

She obeyed her Savior at the age of 18, and united with the Church of Christ ------ and has always lived a consistent Christian life.  She was a loving, obedient daughter an a Faithful loving wife and mother.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, and two sons, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Clark, three sisters and four brothers and a host of other relatives and friends.  One sister, Mrs. Florence Mitchell having departed this life in February, 1919;.  The living brothers and sisters are Mrs. E. D. Schnurr of Guymon, Oklahoma, Hiram Clark of Clayton, Oklahoma; Mrs. Henry Ewing, Joe John, Guy and Ada Clark of Arlington.

On account of the serious illness of the husband and children, and illness of other family members of the family only a short service was held at the home Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Kimball of the New Home Church, and the burial was in the Arlington Cemetery

A precious one from is is gone.
  A voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in our home
 Which can Never more be filled.
