MRS. SALLIE T. HUMISTON

Mrs. Sally T. Humiston, 114 East Ninth, died at 1:45 p.m. Monday at Grace hospital after an illness of three months.  She had been a resident of Hutchinson 37 years. Mrs. Humiston was born in Oak Hill, West Va., Aug.30, 1876.  She moved to Kansas with her parents when six years old, living in the Sterling area.  She was a member of the Calvary Evangelical U. B. Church and the American Legion Auxillary. Survivors are three daughters, Maxine, of the home;  Mrs. Fern Hull, 820 North Buchanan;  Mrs. Mae Byrd, 318 North Plum;  four sons, Frank, 212 East Campbell;  Edward, 709 East Sixth; Howard, 909 East Sixth;  Harold, Hays;  a sister, Mrs. Anna Chappell, of the home;  a brother, Overton Hickman, 419 East 16th, and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Elliott & Gard chapel with Rev. H. E. Chappell and Rev. Paul Carson officiating.  Burial will be in Eastside cemetery.
