James "Clifford" Fair
 
James "Clifford" Fair, 78, died December 26, 1995, at Via Christi Regional Medical center St. Francis Campus, Wichita, KS after a short illness.
 
He was born December 10, 1917 at Hutchinson, the son of W. A. and Ida Nelson Fair.  He was a Graduate of Hutchinson High School.  A lifetime resident of Hutchison, he farmed and ranched South of Hutchinson in partnership with his brother William A. Fair.
 
He was a member of the South Hutchinson United Methodist Church, the Pastoral Relations Committee, the Partridge School Board, ASCS Offices, Whiteside COOP board, and was known for his pit barbecues throughout Kansas.
 
On March 26, 1939 he married Martha Woodall, of Hutchinson, KS.  She died November 5, 1994.
 
Survivors include: Two sons, Jim Fair and his wife Chelsea, Dallas, TX; Bob Fair and his wife Louise, Honolulu, Hawaii; Two daughters, Nancy Roelofs and her husband Glenn, St. Paul, MN, Becky Hatch and her husband Al, Kinsley, KS; Two brothers, William A. Fair, Hutchinson, John Fair, California; One Sister Sicily Uht, Kansas City, KS; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
 
Funeral will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday at the South Hutchinson United Methodist Church, South Hutchinson with the Reverend Tom Sheldon presiding.
 
Friends may call from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. today and from 9 A.M. to 7 P.M. Thursday at Johnson and sons Funeral Home, Hutchinson Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson,
 
Memorials may be sent to South Hutchinson United Methodist Church in car of the funeral home.
