She was born in Natoma. Daughter of Doug and Ozia (Yarborough) Harsh. She attended WaKeeney schools and was a graduate of Trego Community High School Tiny Stites, She died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, WaKeeney. She married Lawrence Roy Stites on Oct. 8, 1939, in Hays. He preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 2001. She was a homemaker and seamstress. Survivors include two sons, Mark Stites and Doug Stites, a daughter, Trish Moores, .; a brother, Wayne Harsh, a sister, Cleo Behrns, 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Burial in Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham County. Burial Prairie Home Cemetery
