Clarence Ora Spencer Jr.:

U.S ARMY VETERAN WWII:

Clarence Ora Spencer Jr., Glasco, formerly of Stockton, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit. He was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Graham County to Clarence and Lena (Nickelson) Spencer Sr. He was a 1942 graduate of Hill City High School. He married Daphne (Smith) on March 7, 1946, in Oberlin. He was owner of Spencer Honda, Stockton. He was a U.S Army veteran, serving during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; five daughters, Connie Klepper, Carla Mahon, Candace Orona Leigh, Donna Johnson, and Marilee Gumm, 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Tim Spencer, and a grandson.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Stockton Cemetery, with military honors by Fort Riley Honor Guard.
