Ivan R. KENYON, 90, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2000, at Dawson Place Nursing Home in Hill City, Kansas. He was born March 11, 1910 in rural Graham County, Kansas, the son of Benedict CLAUDSLEY and Belle (BOYS) KENYON. A retired farmer/stockman, Ivan was a lifetime Bogue area resident. He married Delena CONYAC, May 14, 1934, in Damar, Kansas, and she survives.

Ivan was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Damar Knights of Columbus, Men's Service Club of Bogue, Farm Bureau, and a founding member of the Bogue Pinochler Club. He had been a member of the Bogue School Board.

Ivan is survived by his wife, Delena KENYON, of Hill City; two sons, Gary KENYON of Great Bend, Kansas and Alan KENYON of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters Marilyn Kay POZAS of Glendale, Arizona and Jolene ALEXANDER of Ottawa, Kansas; one sister, Eleanore EIKMAN, Mesa, Arizona; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parent; three brothers, Everette, Melvin, and Wilbur; and one sister, Mary STEPHEN.
Funeral services were Thursday, September 28, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Damar with Father KILIAN officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Damar, Kansas. Memorials were suggested to Dawson Place in Hill City.
