Betty (Radcliffe) Jackson, Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, July 30, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rogers, Ark. She was born near Bogue to Earl and Alice Radcliffe. She received a bachelor's degree from Kansas State University and a master's degree from Fort Hays State. She taught English and journalism at Oakley High School, prior to retiring in 1997.
Survivors include two sons, William "Willie" Jackson, and Hugh Doran Jackson, two daughters, Barbara Boxberger, and Patrice Cecil, two brothers, Robert Radcliffe, and Gene Radcliffe, a sister, Barbara Schroeder Foster, 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Two husbands, Doran Wayne Jackson and Romayne "Rome" Seilmeyer, preceded her in death.

Burial in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.
