Arlie Elwood HARRIS, Jr., passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2000. 70 years of age, he was born on April 11, 1930 in Penokee, Graham County, Kansas, to Arlie Elwood HARRIS, Sr. and Eva J. NORDICK. A retired plumber with Unified School District No. 305 in Salina, he had made his home in Wichita. Funeral services included a Rosary on Wednesday, October 4, 2000 and a Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 5, 2000, both at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Wichita.

Arlie is survived by his wife, Dolores A. HARRIS of the home in Wichita; a son, Ron HARRIS of Newton, Kansas; a daughter, Debra HENNING, Newton, Kansas; three step-sons, Jack DEMARS, Gladewater, Texas, and Dirk WEDDEL and Mark WEDDEL, both of Wichita, Kansas; and a step-daughter, Aleta WEDDELL of Wichita.
Also surviving are six brothers: Kenneth HARRIS, Bogue; Edward HARRIS, Eckhart, Colorado; Robert HARRIS, Scott City, Kansas; Clyde HARRIS, Marysville, Kansas; Carol HARRIS, Elmore, Oklahoma; and Raymond HARRIS, El Dorado, Kansas; and two sisters, Leona SAUER, Schulte, Kansas, and Mary POTTERF, Hill City, Kansas; as well as numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma HARRIS; his parents, Arlie Elwood HARRIS, Sr. and Eva NORDICK; a son, Gregory HARRIS; and three brother, Adolph HARRIS, Donald HARRIS, and Claude HARRIS.
