Carl H. "Sonny" GOODROW

Carl H. "Sonny" Goodrow, 88, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at Hays Medical Center. He was born Jan. 19, 1914, in rural Morland, Ks. Son of Robert Ray and Minnie Maybelle (White) Goodrow. He married Inez Ermina McDowell on April 3, 1933, in Hill City. He was a farmer-stockman and lifetime area resident. He was Graham County Sheriffs special deputy for the Morland area for many years. He did custom farming and harvesting for many years.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Carl C. and Kenneth K, three daughters, Carol Larcom, Karen Morris, and Dana Hilburn, two brothers, Chester "Chet," and Lowell, four sisters, Hilda Corning, Evelyn McClain, Opal Davis, & Gladys Spencer, 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A grandchild and a great-grandchild preceded him in death.
