Dorothea N. DREILING

Born in rural Trego County, Ks. Daughter of Guy G. & Edna (Mummert) Blakely. Graduated from Trego Community High School. She married Alfred Dreiling on Feb. 20, 1944, in Los Angeles. Survivors include her husband, of the home, two sons. James Dreiling, Larry Dreiling, a daughter, Donna Jeanne Ayala, a brother, Beverly Blakely, two sisters, Norma Seibel, & Patricia Beeby, & seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John & Ed Blakely. Burial in the Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, WaKeeney, Ks., Trego County.
Dorothea N. Dreiling, 83, Hays, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at her home. She was born Jan. 16, 1922, in rural Graham County, daughter of Guy G. and Edna (Mummert) Blakely. She graduated from Trego Community High School and received her teaching certificate from Fort Hays State University. She taught in a one-room school. She married Alfred Dreiling on Feb. 20, 1944, in Los Angeles.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, James Dreiling, and Larry Dreiling, a daughter, Donna Jeanne Ayala, a brother, Beverly Blakely, two sisters. Norma Seibel, and Patricia Beeby, and seven grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded her in death, John Blakely and Ed Blakely.
