Located North of the Memorial Lawn Cemetery 2 miles north of Hill City on U.S. 283

This cemetery was walked, cataloged & recorded and copyrighted 9/25/2002 to 10/15/2002. Researched and copyrighted by Gayle M. Garrett a life long Trego County resident. For New Listings & Updates added after 10/15/2002, the Information may have been taken from Obituaries instead of rewalking the cemetery.

There are a Lot of Deteriorated Stones that no longer have any information left on them. I never counted them but I am sure there more than 100 of these old stones. I am sure that there are several unmarked graves in this cemetery also. There are also lots of old metal grave markers with no information left on them.

There are 12 different numbered Sections or Blocks in this Cemetery. My sections/blocks do not match the official division of blocks. They aren't marked in the cemetery, so I used my own divisions. There are 9 big squares, the middle 3 sections running N - S, I divided them into two sections each. There is an area all the way through that is void of graves, The diagram to the right shows how I divided the sections in the cemetery. I used a line running N-S to indicate the division between the middle sections.........Gayle sec-loc.gif - 2228 Bytes
