  We announce with deep sorrow, the death of Col. W. W. Griswold, who passed away today at one o'clock, after suffering for many weeks with complications of diseases. Comrade Griswold came to this place about a year and a half ago from Allen county, and since he has resided here has gained the respect and esteem of all that knew him.  He was a gallant and true soldier and a model citizen.  He leaves a wife and one child, a boy 12 years old.  Funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock
