Died, at his home near Galesburg, Kan., on Friday, November 10, 1905, from the effects of an injury sustained in the Union service, John Loudybarger, aged 64 years and a few months. Up to Wednesday preceding his death Mr. Loudybarger was feeling unusually well. Wednesday night, however, he became very ill and grew rapidly worse until the end. He spent four years in his country’s service as a member of Co. H 8th Ind. Inft. Thirty years ago he came to Kansas with his family, he lived in Erie a number of years, removing to Galesburg two or three years ago. The funeral was conducted at Galesburg on Sunday morning at 11 o’clock and the remains buried in Mt. Hope cemetery.
